The Gallery
Thirty-two pieces, each grown from a single algorithm and painted live on an HTML canvas at up to sixty frames a second. Every plate paints itself as soon as it is on screen; tap or click one to open it full-frame, and Copy embed puts its one-line embed on your clipboard.
Every plate in turn, cross-faded, with the screen kept awake: for a TV, a second monitor or a projector. Esc or a tap leaves.
One live cell and a three-bit rule, falling into a pattern that never repeats.
Straight cracks that spawn cracks at right angles and stop dead on each other.
Two dozen double pendulums let go a hair apart, falling out of step into chaos.
Two rules on a soup of cells: births in coral, survivors in cobalt, the dead as fading ghosts.
Three suns chasing round a figure eight, then a Pythagorean dance that throws one out.
